Terms of Service
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Klypr LLC ("Klypr", "we" or "us")
covering the Klypr desktop app, the klypr.tv website, Klypr Cloud, and everything else we offer under the
Klypr name (together, the "Services"). Please read them: they include a limitation of our
liability. By using the Services you agree to them.
Klypr is under active development. We may change, add, pause or retire features,
plans and limits from time to time. We may also update these Terms; when a change is material we'll update
the date above and take reasonable steps to tell account holders, such as an email or an in-app notice.
Using the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If we don't enforce a provision at some
point, we're not giving up the right to enforce it later.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you're under the age of majority
where you live, you may only buy a paid plan with a parent's or guardian's permission, and they agree to these
Terms on your behalf.
- You must be a human. Accounts created by bots or other automated means aren't permitted.
- You sign in with a supported third-party account (currently Discord; we may add or remove sign-in
options). You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through your Klypr
account, including every clip uploaded and every comment posted from it.
- One person, one account. Don't create additional accounts to get around plan limits, a suspension, or a
one-per-account offer such as a free trial.
Acceptable Use Policy
Klypr is for gameplay clips. You may not use the Services, including anything you upload, share, name,
comment or put on your profile, to do any of the following. The list gives examples; it isn't exhaustive, and
we decide, at our discretion, whether something crosses the line.
- Post sexual or adult content of any kind. This includes nudity, sexually explicit material,
and sexualized depictions of any person, real or drawn.
- Post, share or link to child sexual abuse material or anything that sexualizes minors. We
remove it, preserve it where U.S. law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing &
Exploited Children and law enforcement.
- Post intimate imagery of anyone without their consent, real or synthetic. If you're depicted in
such an image on Klypr, you (or someone acting for you) can ask us to remove it at
klypr.tv/report; we remove it, and known identical copies, within 48 hours of a valid
request, as the TAKE IT DOWN Act requires.
- Harass, threaten, intimidate or dox anyone; post hate speech or incitement to violence; or target our team.
- Upload content you don't have the rights to share (see Copyright).
- Impersonate another person or creator, file false reports, or mislead us or other users.
- Distribute malware, cheats, exploits or anything designed to harm devices, accounts or games.
- Scrape, collect or extract data from accounts that aren't yours; circumvent, disable or interfere with
security measures or plan limits; or place an unreasonable load on the Services.
- Use the Services in a way that breaks applicable law.
We may screen uploads automatically and review content when it's reported. We may remove or hide content,
restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, without notice where we consider
it warranted. Repeat infringers are terminated. Anyone can report content at
klypr.tv/report, from the ⚑ Report button on a clip or profile, or by emailing
reports@klypr.tv. We don't share a reporter's identity with the account reported.
Your content
- Your clips are yours. Recordings and clips you make with the app are stored on your own
device and are uploaded only when you choose to share them or save them to Klypr Cloud. We claim no ownership
over anything you create or upload.
- When you upload content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store,
re-encode, make previews of, and display and stream it to the people you share it with (and publicly, if you
make it public) as needed to operate, improve and promote the Services. The license ends when you delete the
content, except for copies kept in routine backups for a limited time and material we're required to preserve
by law or under a legal hold.
- You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to post it. Game publishers set their own rules
for sharing footage of their games; it's your job to follow them.
- We don't pre-screen every upload, but we reserve the right (not the obligation) to refuse, hide or remove any
content at our discretion.
- The Services themselves (the software, the site, our name, logos and design) belong to Klypr LLC and its
licensors. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. Don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create derivative
works from them, and ask before using our marks.
Klypr Cloud and plans
- Every account includes a free plan with the storage, clip-size, quality and share-link limits shown in the
app and on klypr.tv/pricing. Paid plans raise those limits and unlock additional
features. What each plan includes may change over time; if we remove something material from a plan you're
paying for, we'll make reasonable efforts to tell you in advance.
- "Unlimited" storage is subject to fair use. It's meant for one person's own gameplay library;
as a guide, up to around 2 TB. Use far beyond that, or use as general file storage, backup, or redistribution of
other people's videos, may be limited after we contact you.
- If your plan ends or you move to a smaller plan and you're over its limits, uploads and new share links may
be paused until you're within the limits or upgrade. We don't intend to delete content silently: we'll make
reasonable efforts to contact you before removing anything, and give you a reasonable period to act.
- Share links use a random token. Anyone with a link can watch the clip, so treat links accordingly. Links on
the free plan expire after the period shown in the app, after which the shared copy may be removed.
- Inactive accounts. We may remove the cloud content of accounts that haven't signed in for an
extended period (currently 12 months), after making reasonable efforts to notify the email address on file.
- Availability, upload speed and playback depend on our providers and your connection. We don't offer a
service-level agreement.
Payments, trials and renewals
- When you buy a plan you buy from Klypr LLC. Payment is taken by a third-party payment
processor (currently Stripe) on a secure checkout page that it hosts; your card or other payment details go to
the processor, not to Klypr's servers, and are handled under its own privacy policy. Receipts and invoices are
emailed to you. Where we're required to collect sales tax or VAT, the checkout shows it before you confirm.
- Free trials. Where a plan offers a free trial, its length is shown at checkout. A payment
method may be required to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and you're charged
for the first billing period. Trials are limited to one per account unless we say otherwise.
- Plans renew automatically. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period you
choose (for example monthly or yearly) and renew automatically at the then-current price until you
cancel. The price, billing period and renewal date are shown before you confirm; where tax is added on
top, the checkout shows it.
- Changing plans. Upgrades take effect immediately, with the difference charged for the rest of
the current period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. We may change how this works with notice.
- Price changes. We may change prices. If a change affects a plan you're already paying for,
we'll give you reasonable advance notice (typically at least 30 days) by email before it applies, and you can
cancel before then.
- Refunds are handled as described in our Refund & cancellation policy.
Cancellation and termination
- You can cancel online at any time from Klypr → Settings → Account → Manage, which opens your
billing portal. You can also email us; the in-app path is the quickest. Details are in the
Refund & cancellation policy.
- When you cancel, your plan generally stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your
account returns to the free plan and you won't be billed again.
- To delete your account, email hello@klypr.tv from the address on your
account. We'll remove your profile, cloud clips and share links within the time applicable law allows
(typically 30 days); copies in backups clear on their own schedule afterwards. Deleted content can't be
recovered.
- We may suspend or terminate your account, or refuse current or future use of the Services, if you violate these
Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), or where we consider it necessary to protect the Services, other
users, third parties or ourselves. Termination may forfeit the content in the account. Abuse of our team,
including threats, is grounds for immediate termination.
Copyright and DMCA notices
Content on the Services must comply with U.S. copyright law. If you own a copyright and believe an account has
posted your work without permission, you can notify us under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
(17 U.S.C. § 512). To be effective, a notice must be in writing and include:
- a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
- identification of the work(s) claimed to be infringed (a representative list is fine if there are many);
- the klypr.tv link(s) to the material you believe is infringing, so we can locate it;
- your name and contact details, email preferred;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act for the owner.
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a written counter-notice
containing: your signature; a description of the removed material and the klypr.tv link where it appeared; your
name and contact details; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by
mistake or misidentification; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for
the district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., the federal district court for the district in Texas where
Klypr LLC is located); and that you'll accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Content subject to a pending claim may be kept but not shown until
the claim is resolved.
The service itself
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise they
will meet your requirements, be error-free, or be available at all times. Capture and playback quality depend on
your hardware, drivers, games and connection.
- We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. If we discontinue something you've
paid for, we'll treat the remainder of your billing period fairly, as described in the refund policy.
- We use third-party providers to run the Services (for example hosting, storage, payments and sign-in); the
categories and current providers are described in our Privacy Policy.
- Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect
and why.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Klypr LLC harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal
fees) arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klypr LLC and its owners, employees and providers will not be liable,
whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential,
punitive or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, use or data, arising out of or relating to the
Services or these Terms, including from (i) your use of or inability to use the Services, (ii) any content or
conduct of a third party on the Services, (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your content, or (iv) lost,
corrupted or unrecoverable recordings or clips, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our
total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the
twelve months before the claim or US $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow some of these limits, so some may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability
that can't be limited by law, or affects the statutory rights of consumers where those apply.
In plain words: your recordings are yours to back up, and using Klypr is a bet on us. We do our best to be a
safe bet.
Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and of the United States, without regard to
conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent
to their jurisdiction, except that consumers whose local law guarantees it (for example in the EU and UK) may
bring claims in their home courts. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and Klypr LLC about the
Services. You may not assign them; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
