Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
We want happy customers, not hostages. You can cancel online in a couple of clicks, and if a charge
wasn't what you meant, tell us and we'll sort it out.
Free trials
- Where a plan offers a free trial, its length (currently 14 days) is shown at checkout. A payment method may be
required to start it, and you aren't charged until the trial ends.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you aren't charged; your account returns to the free plan.
- If you don't cancel, the plan starts when the trial ends and the first payment is taken then. The checkout shows
the date and amount before you confirm.
- Trials are limited to one per account unless we say otherwise.
How to cancel
- Open Klypr and go to Settings → Account → Manage. That opens your billing portal, where you
can see your invoices, update your payment method and cancel.
- Choose Cancel subscription. No calls, no questions.
If you can't get in, email support@klypr.tv from the address on your account and
we'll cancel for you. Only the account's owner can cancel it.
What happens when you cancel
- Your plan generally stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; you keep its
features until then and won't be billed again.
- Your account then returns to the free plan. Your clips and share links stay, and the app keeps working. If you're
over the free plan's limits, uploads and new share links may be paused until you're within them or upgrade; we
don't intend to delete anything silently and will make reasonable efforts to contact you before removing content.
- Clip-capture settings above the free plan's limits return to the free plan's the next time the replay buffer
starts; the app tells you when that happens.
- We don't automatically prorate unused time in the final period, but read on.
Refunds
Our standard practice is simple: if a charge wasn't what you meant, or Klypr didn't work out for you,
ask us and we'll make it right. Every request is handled by a person, so the examples below are a guide to
how we usually decide, not a complete list.
We'll normally refund in full
- You were charged when a trial ended but meant to cancel. Tell us within 14 days of the charge.
- A plan renewed and you didn't want it to. Tell us within 14 days of the renewal.
- You tried a plan and it isn't for you. Tell us within 14 days of your first payment.
We'll look at case by case
- You forgot to cancel a while ago and haven't used Klypr Cloud since. We'll review the account and may refund or
credit unused months.
- You're on a yearly plan and want to stop part-way. We'll consider a prorated refund or credit based on use.
- We had extended downtime, or something we sold didn't work. We'll consider a credit.
Refunds beyond what the law requires are at our discretion, and we may decline requests that look like abuse,
for example repeated sign-up-and-refund cycles, chargebacks filed instead of contacting us, or accounts closed for
breaking our Acceptable Use Policy. Where consumer law gives you more than this policy
(for example the 14-day withdrawal right for consumers in the EU and UK), you have that too.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued by Klypr LLC through our payment processor to the payment method you used, and typically
appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. If you're thinking of disputing a charge with your
bank, please contact us first. A refund from us is faster, and we'd rather fix it.
Email support@klypr.tv (or use the form at klypr.tv/support)
with the email address on your Klypr account and what happened. Most things on the edges come down to a conversation, and we'll work with you.
